Consternated by this mornings brutal assault, moved by the savagery of the terrorist act perpetrated against the citizens who were peacefully going to their workplaces.

First of all, we express our solidarity with the victims and their relatives, and with all the people in Madrid by offering our help and services in every way.

We repudiate and we mobilize against terror and against breaking the democratic coexistence and we appeal to everyone to show their support and to assist in mass to all the summons against this criminal attack, and especially we call upon you to:

-support the 15 minutes standstill convoked by the central workers unions CCOO and UGT for tomorrow, Friday, March 12th

-participate in the manifestation of condemn called for the same day, Friday, at 7 pm

This terrorist assault is also a direct attack against the democracy during one of its most important moments: the electoral campaign. The terrorists strike against the right of the citizens to decide freely by introducing fear and dread into the electoral process.

We call for the widest possible response of the citizens, mobilizing us all against the terror and participating massively in the March 14th elections which will show that blackmail and terror cannot twist the will for democracy of one nation.
