El jueves por la tarde, 8 de mayo,
Dos internacionales britnicos fueron detenidos al cruzar la frontera de Erez para entrar en la franja de Gaza. Son Nick y Alice. A ambos se les mantiene en un asentamiento en la Franja. Se les ha dicho que van a ser deportados.

EL EJERCITO ISRAEL ATACA LA OFICINA CENTRAL DEL ISM (Movimiento de Solidaridad Internacional, en sus siglas en ingls) situadas en
Beit Sahour, localidad vecian a Beln, en Cisjordania, Palestina Ocupada].
Las fuerzas israeles atacaron la oficina del ISM (Movimiento de Solidaridad Internacional) la maana del viernes y confiscaron equipos y diverso l material y secuestraron a tres mujeres.
A las 12:30 del viernes 9 de mayo, approximadamente 20 vehculos militares, jeeps del ejrcito y un gran vehculo de transporte blindado (supuestamente destinado a arrestos masivos) rodearon la oficina de comunicacin del ISM en Beit Sahour.
Docenas de soldados, polica fronteriza y oficiales de la polica civil atacaron la oficina del ISM, confiscando todos los ordenadores, no solamente en la oficina del ISM sino tambin en la oficina cercana del Centro Palestino de Reconciliacin. Ficheros, CDs, y fotografas fueron todos saqueados, y los soldados destrozaron equipos y daaron el espacio de la oficina.
Las fuerzas israeles secuestraron a una voluntaria palestina, Fida, otra americana, Flo, y una trabajadora de Human Rights Watch que visitaba la oficina.
En el momento de escribir esto, Fida ha sido liberada, y los internacionales han sido trasladados a la oficina del Ministro del Interior de Israel, probablemente para su deportacin.
El gobierno israel ha declarado una guerra abierta a los trabajadores internacionales por la paz y los derechos humanos. Las fuerzas israeles hacen todo lo que les es posible para impedir especficamente la resistencia no violenta a su regla militar. 3 INTERNACIONALES DETENIDOS POR EL IDF (Fuerzas de Defensa Israeles- EJRCITO DE ISRAEL) EN TULKAREM
[Beit Sahour, Palestina ocupada]
Hacia las 6:00 PM del 10 de mayo de 2003, Radika, ciudadana de EEUU, Charlotte, ciudadana del Reino Unido, y Osama, a
coordinador palestino que trabaja con el ISM, fueron detenidos por fuerzas israeles cerca de Tulkarem (Cisjordania).
Los detalles de la detencin son esquemticos por el momento. No sabemos dnde se les retiene o si han sido deportados.
stas son las ltimas detenciones del plan del ejrcito israel de echar al ISM de Cisjordania y Gaza.
El viernes 9, las fuerzas israeles atacaron la oficina del ISM y el cercano Centro de Recnciliacin de Palestina, en Beit Sahour.

On Thursday evening, May 8, 2003,
Two British Internationals were detained at Erez border crossing at the entrance to the Gaza strip.
The Internationals are Nick and Alice. Both are being held in a settlement in the Gaza Strip. They have been told that they are being deported.

ISRAELI FORCES RAID ISM OFFICE
[Beit Sahour, Occupied Palestine] Israeli forces raided the ISM
office this morning, confiscating equipment and material and
snatching three women. At 12:30pm on Friday, May 9, approximately 20
military vehicles, army jeeps and a large armored personnel carrier
(intended for many arrests) surrounded the ISM media office in Beit
Sahour. Dozens of soldiers, border police and civilian police
officers raided the ISM office, confiscating all computers, not only
in the ISM office but in the nearby office of the Palestinian Centre
for Rapprochement. Files, CD, and photos were all pillaged, while
soldiers broke equipment and damaged office space. Israeli forces
kidnapped Palestinian volunteer, Fida, American volunteer, Flo, and
a worker with Human Rights Watch visiting the office. At the time of
this writing, Fida has been released, and the internationals seem to
have been moved to the office of the Israeli Ministry of Interior,
most probably for deportation.
The Israeli government has declared an open war on international
peace and human rights workers. Israeli forces are doing everything
in their power to specifically prevent the nonviolent resistance to
their military rule. The stepped-up harassment of internationals and
journalists in the Occupied Palestinian Territories is nothing short
of a further attempt to shield from the international community the
brutality of daily Israeli military actions against the Palestinian
people.
The ISM, however, has no plans to leave the Palestinian areas nor to
reduce our actions or our efforts. We need your help. Please protest:

3 INTERNATIONALS TAKEN INTO IDF CUSTODY IN TULKAREM
[Beit Sahour, Occupied Palestine] At approximately 6:00 PM, May 10,
2003, Radika, a US citizen, Charlotte, a UK citizen, and Osama, a
Palestinian coordinator working with the ISM, were detained by
Israeli forces near Tulkarem in the West Bank.
Details on their apprehension are sketchy at this point. At this time
we do not know where they are being held or if they will be deported.
These are the latest apprehensions in a plan by the Israeli army to
remove ISM from the West Bank and Gaza.
On Friday, May 9, 2003, Israeli forces raided the offices of the ISM
and the nearby Rapprochement Center in Beit Sahour. Three women were
taken into into custody, all of the centers computers were
confiscated and other equipment was damaged. Two of the women have
been released. Flo, a US citizen, remains in custody. She has been
told that she will be deported.
Please call government officials to protest the illegal detentions
and deportations.
